Shanghai-based fusion startup Energy Singularity has achieved a landmark milestone, setting a world record for a commercially constructed nuclear fusion device with its Honghuang 70 (HH70) high-temperature superconducting (HTS) tokamak. Often referred to as an "artificial sun," the device has conducted 5,755 experiments and demonstrated its capability to sustain a plasma current for an impressive 1,337 seconds.
